Job Description:
A boutique Investment Bank, located in Boca Raton, FL seeks an Associate, Investment Banking professional to provide services to corporate clients regarding complex financial matters including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and underwritings of public or private financings (including public and private equity and private debt). Provide integrated strategic and financial advice to senior management of Micro and Small Cap public and private companies. We are seeking an individual who has both the entrepreneurial mindset and deep financial knowledge to assist in growing our Investor Relationship, Consulting and Investment Banking verticals. The individuals' responsibilities will consist of: Company and Industry Analysis; Comprehension of Financial Statements; Financial Modeling, Writing of Descriptive Memorandums; Investor Meetings and New Business Development. This individual will work across all verticals and must have strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint background and be able to articulate a clients' business proposition to potential investors or buyers.
Skills Required:
REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Finance and four (4) years experience working in investment banking for a global financial services institution. Experience must include performing due diligence, SEC disclosures/documentation, business valuation, divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, initial public offerings, and pro forma merger analysis; preparing presentations using Microsoft Powerpoint or Word; and developing complex financial models, including comparable public company, precedent transaction, discounted cash flow using Microsoft Excel, CapitalIQ, and EDGAR.
