Michael Margolies

Mr. Margolies founded Littlebanc to provide Wall Street investment banking services to small companies.  With over 25 years of Wall Street experience, he brings extensive expertise and deep relationships with many of Wall Street’s most influential professionals.  Prior to founding Littlebanc, Mr. Margolies was a Managing Director of Ladenburg Thalmann & Co., Inc. where he led the firm’s PIPE practice.  In 1995 Mr. Margolies saw an opportunity to provide hedge funds and financial institutions with unbiased research and founded Avalon Research Group, Inc., one of Wall Street’s top-rated independent research companies with over 100 hedge fund and mutual fund clients.  Mr. Margolies was also a founding member of Investorside Research Association, a non-profit trade association of investment research providers not engaging in investment banking.  He served as Chairman & CEO of Avalon Research Group, Inc., until 2004 when the company was acquired by London-based trade publisher, Metal Bulletin. Prior to founding Avalon, Mr. margolies managed long/short discretionary accounts for M.A. Berman & Co., a boutique money management and brokerage firm with more than $500 million under management.  In the eighties and early nineties, Mr. Margolies was a Senior Vice President and Limited Partner with Oppenheimer and Company in New York.

Menachem Kranz

Menachem Kranz is a co-founder of Littlebanc. Mr. Kranz has worked for over a decade in the securities and finance industry, most recently as vice president in the PIPEs practice at Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Prior to joining Ladenburg, Mr. Kranz leveraged his extensive contacts and relationships within the hedge and mutual fund communities in a variety of contexts, including as a hybrid trader with RBC Capital Markets and a senior vice president of institutional research sales at Avalon Research Group Inc. where he was instrumental in the rapid growth and development of the firm. Mr. Kranz’s educational background, Rabbinical College of America, laid the foundation for sound analytical minded process and affability.

Hal Gassenheimer

Hal Gassenheimer brings over 40 years of financial and general management experience to Littlebanc. Prior to joining Littlebanc, Mr. Gassenheimer managed a number of turnarounds in an executive capacity. Recently, Mr. Gassenheimer has served as COO of MAMC, a mortgage lender and servicer, working first with a CRO and then a Receiver, when this entity, with $280 million under management, became insolvent, participating in all aspects of the sale of assets to achieve maximum possible recovery. Prior to MAMC, he served as CFO of Avalon Research, building financial management control systems and procedures; developing and managing a major downsizing and cost cutting program; and handling all financial aspects of the sale of the Company to a British public company.  Prior to this role, he served as Treasurer of Cunard Line Limited, a division of Carnival Corporation where, as part of the turnaround team, he rebuilt the controls, systems and procedures for cash management; developed worldwide banking, foreign exchange, credit card processing relationships and money delivery systems essential to the operation of a fleet of seven cruise ships that navigated the globe. Prior to that, he participated as a partner with responsibility for finance in several large real estate development projects.  In this capacity he developed and managed previously nonexistent financial control systems, quality control procedures and arranged debt financing.  He also introduced computerized reporting requirements with the banks, greatly increasing efficiency and credibility.  Mr. Gassenheimer’s career also includes 23 years in executive positions with ExxonMobil where he developed expertise in international tax, legal and accounting matters, complex transfer pricing issues, international trading, leading major contract negotiations and logistics operations management.

Eunice Park

Eunice Park has extensive experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, Ms. Park served as an Equity Research Analyst at Coghill Capital Management focused on small cap investments in the U.S. and Asia. She began her career in investment banking at Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong and New York, responsible for M&A, debt/equity financings, restructurings, and distressed transactions. Clients included the largest national banks and financial conglomerates in the Greater China and Southeast Asia region. Ms. Park was one of the early members of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, an entity with more than $5bn in funding to promote economic development in developing countries throughout the world. Ms. Park holds a M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Columbia University.

Patricia D. Palmer

Pat Palmer brings more than 25 years of senior management, sales/marketing, and operational experience in leading technology companies, together with financial experience developed more recently at Morgan Stanley, Laird Capital, and Oceana Partners.  Ms. Palmer led technology business units/brands for some of the most respected companies in the world, as well as for start-up companies.    Her technology experience has included executive roles as:  Northeast Regional Sales Manager for Dell Corporation; Vice President, Sales & Marketing of the Global Telecommunications Group for Unisys Corporation; Vice President/General Manager of Publishing Software for Xerox Corporation; Vice President/General Manager of XSoft Company (a start-up company funded by Xerox to productize Xerox PARC technology); over 15 years with IBM Corporation where she held management roles in sales and marketing, including the role of Senior Manager of Worldwide Marketing & Product Management for the IBM PC and Branch Manager of a $400+million sales office.

Ms. Davis has extensive experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Littlebanc Advisors, LLC, Ms. Davis served as Senior Compliance Officer for Boca Raton, FL based American Securities Group, Inc. There she was responsible for overseeing branch personnel and all compliance activities. Prior to American Securities Group, Inc., Ms. Davis was responsible for operations and client/sales support for Amerifinancial. Before these responsibilities, she provided sales and operations support at Avalon Research Group, Inc. Ms. Davis began her career at Motorola, Inc., as an Enterprise & Partner Sales Assistant. Ms. Davis maintains the General Securities Representative (Series 7), General Securities Principal (Series 24), and Uniform Combined State Law (Series 66) registrations. She also has a Life, Health & Variable Annuity License. Ms. Davis holds a Business Management Degree from Northwood University.

Alejandro Garrote

Alejandro Garrote has 4 years of investment and financial experience.  Prior to joining Littlebanc Advisors, LLC, Mr. Garrote served as a Financial Analyst for Banyan Mezzanine Funds, a Private Equity Firm with over $200 million of committed capital that services smaller-middle market companies headquartered primarily in the Southeast.  At Banyan he participated in arranging approximately $100 million in financings, which included analysis, research, underwriting, structuring, documenting, reporting and the monitoring of mezzanine and equity financings across a broad range of industries.  Mr. Garrote holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Miami.
